In their Hartford Bound project, Fiona Vernal and James Kolb articulate and display artifacts showing how migrations of African American, Puerto Rican, and West Indian communities transformed the city of Hartford in Connecticut’s racial and ethnic landscape. The project provides maps showing communities in the West Indies & Caribbean where people immigrated from to the Greater Hartford region of Connecticut.
